LOFA TO MOUNT OWN EXHIBITION
The members of LOFA, the trade organisation that represents the outdoor furniture and barbecue trade, have agreed to mount their own exhibition to be held every July.
The first exhibition, to be called SOLEX (Summer Outdoor Living Exhibition) will be held 6-8th July 2008 at the Telford International Centre.
Speaking about the change, the Chairman of LOFA, John Smye said, “It’s all a matter of timing. Unfortunately 70 per cent of members exhibiting at GLEE in September said that this was too late to be taking orders, so we had to mastermind a better alternative.”
LOFA, with the help of the experienced exhibition team at Telford will make the visitor experience at SOLEX as easy and pleasurable as possible. On-line registration, free lunches and refreshments, convenient parking and hotels within walking distance from the halls will go a long way to make the visitor experience more enjoyable. Buyers will be able to check into local hotels and drop bags at the show. A drinks reception will also be hosted by LOFA on the Monday evening of the first show 7th July 2008.
The three interlinked halls at Telford International Centre that offer 10,300m2 of space will all be used for SOLEX. More than 90 per cent of this space has already been committed by the 55 existing members of LOFA who represent all the major brands in the outdoor living market.
