LOFA - Lesisure & Outdoor Furniture Association

The Hampton  Court Flower Show was held from July 3th to the 8th July.

I visited on the Tuesday 3 rd July on what turned out to be one of the hottest days of the year. The exhibits and the exhibitors were all showing signs of wilting and I think the best place to be was either at the Swimming pool garden or like this tub sculpture.

Several members were exhibiting including John Watts of Flaxley Forge, ably assited by Honary Member, Brian Lee. They reported a lot of interest and there was no shortage of customers around.

Probably the best gardens at the show were the Frog and Princess Garden and the Indian Garden

Most bizarre sight on such a hot day was the Daily Mail winter garden.- articifial snow at 30 C.

LOFA took out an advert in the inside cover of the back page and I took the opportunity to look up some new applicants to LOFA.
