THE LOFA AGM XMAS MEETING-December 10th2004
The first combined AGM and Xmas meeting took place at the Goring Hotel. The constitution was amended to allow the addition of Associate Membership, the accounts were approved and auditor appointed in main AGM business. The announcement was made to go to Barcelona for the next Weekend Conference following the success of the Monte Carlo event . A short presentation was given by Jiles Gilbert of Seven Publishing about the Garden Media and the new titles of Garden Life and Delicious Magazine.
The usual excellent good lunch was served of lobster bisque, beef wellington followed by the Barnett Berries ( fresh mango and red berries). Good wines were served together with the famous GLEE decanter of port being passed around.
